My background has been within the Child Safety and Disability space, over the last 19 years. I have worked varied positions, from Youth Worker, Case Manager to an Operations Manager. I took the plunge to open my own disability company on the 1st of July 2024, and I hold no regrets doing this. My passion is making a difference and providing consistency for all participants. I have professional and personal experience working with complex behaviours, ASD, psychosocial/schizoid disorders - Bi-polar, schizophrenia, personality disorders, PTSD to name a few.


Hi, I’m Dion — a down-to-earth, easygoing support worker with over 3 years of experience in the disability and care sector. I’m extremely patient, client-focused, and passionate about helping people from all walks of life achieve their goals. I hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, current CPR and First Aid certification, and an unrestricted driver’s licence.
I genuinely love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else. My approach is all about building trust, trying new things, and making sure my clients feel supported, heard, and empowered.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, camping, road trips, nature walks, and playing pool. I’ve got a wacky sense of humour and always aim to bring a bit of fun and positivity to the people around me
I'm a compassionate and dedicated support worker. I possess a caring and sensitive personality as well as a genuine interest in helping others. I have my own transport and an open C class license. I also have my CPR and first aid certificate. I will be working towards my certificate III in individual support. In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing with my cats, listening to music, and getting lost in a good book. I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have an open Class C driver's license, and my own registered and fully insured car.
I've been an RN since 2006, overseas trained, and I have held an Australian nursing registration since 2010. I have also worked as a disability support worker with Territory Care and support services in Darwin from 2008 to January 2010. During my time as SW, I've dealt with clients with MS, Mental health conditions and Spinal injuries. My experience in nursing includes medical, pre- and post-operative cases, chronic illness, Forensic Mental health/prison nursing, clients with Alcohol and other drug withdrawal and rehabilitation, Volatile substance abuse rehab, occupational nursing, defence nursing, and community nursing. My current role is in MHIPU and Child and Youth Mental Health Services. I've worked with the community and would love to continue giving my service to the community. I am multilingual with vast experience working with the indigenous population and with other cultural backgrounds.
I am also a qualified yoga instructor (though not registered yet, as I didn't feel the need to). Yoga and meditation is an experience that makes me calm in challenging situations, and I would love to pass on the experience to others. I would love to make a positive impact on people's lives and provide high-quality, consistent support to all participants/clients.
I am a qualified trainer with a Cert 4 in training and assessment. I work in line with an RTO and am qualified to provide training sessions like first aid and CPR, medication management and a few other courses. I bring both my personal and professional experience in working with challenging clients that include ASD, PTSD, Schizophrenia, BPAD, EUPD, eating disorders and many more. I have a great understanding of how to manage patients with chronic illness, medical and surgical conditions, including injuries.

Outside of work, I love being outdoors and staying active. Rugby league and golf are two of my biggest passions—they not only help me unwind but also give me great opportunities to connect with others.

I hold an open HR Class licence with my own vehicles and am committed to delivering person-centred and informed care to every individual I support.
My passion for this work is grounded in both lived and professional experience. I currently support individuals with complex behaviours under the NDIS and operate my own early childhood and disability-inclusive service in Bundaberg. I have extensive experience working with participants with diagnosed behavioural complications.
I bring a calm, happy, consistent, and practical approach to every shift. Whether I’m helping someone build daily living skills, engaging in a fun group activity, or de-escalating a behavioural episode, I lead with empathy, patience, and respect.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with family, working on projects, focusing on health and food whilst staying active outdoors. Cars, Computers, Comedy and Country are my strengths and I enjoy lways learning new things.
