I've been on the NDIS for four years now, and I've been with large companies to smaller independent workers. Jo and Trev have stood out to me in the last few months that I've been with SSCS as being so genuine and having true integrity. They run an awesome hub for a small company, and simple maths on that proves they're in it for the clients, not to just be like the bigger companies who treat you like a number, or like you hardly exist. Trevor supports me there and he does a great job getting me out and about, I've become way better at pool at the hub, love the 3D printer set up and most of all thoroughly enjoy the banter and feeling valued. it truly is a laugh a minute as well as feeling like I'm in good hands. I have schizophrenia and I'm pretty open about it. the way the team approaches this is with first of all getting to know me as a person, not a disability, and second of all, always seeking to improve the ways they can support me to have a great quality of life.
